Are microphones included?

Microphones are not included in this package, the choice of microphones varies from person to person and they are easily available from electronic appliance stores. You may wish to either buy wired or wireless microphones to suit your needs. In the future we would also offer optional microphones with the system.

How is the sound quality?

The sound quality is good when connected to the TV set, however, when you connect to a good quality hi-fi amplifier system, you would be able to enjoy better sound quality. Those tracks with accompanying songs produces better sound quality.

Can I connect it to my amplifier system?

Yes, you can. Please refer to the manual for various connecting options for different type of amplier / speaker system to get optimum results.

Can the karaoke set play other karaoke discs?

Yes, the karaoke set plays the special MIDI MDVD disc as well as standard karaoke CD&G discs available from music stores. The main difference is that the special MIDI MDVD disc provided has much much more songs than all the CD&G discs you can gather.

Are there songs included among the music tracks in the Song Library?

There are more than 4000 songs among the other music tracks, they are indicated by a ‘lips' symbol for Chinese songs and ‘smiley' symbol for other languages. These songs can be turned on or off when you are singing karaoke. In addition, it can be turned to auto whereby the accompanying songs would stop when you are singing.

Are there updates to the disc that are supplied with the player?

Yes, there are 2 or 3 releases of updates a year whereby newer and more popular songs are added, less useful songs are also removed. Updates can be purchased on-line too at affordable prices.

What are the songs in the disc?

The songs in the disc are listed in the DOCUMENTATION section. You may use the pdf search function to search through the list to see whether your favorite songs are listed in it. Because it contains more than 44,000 songs, you would most likely be able to locate your favorite song among it. It is rare that you would be able to find that many songs even at the Karaoke lounge. You can click here to search for your favorite song title.

Can I view the karaokeset demo on the internet?

Yes, you can view many demo tracks from this karaoke set in the internet, especially on Youtube. Just type in MODIX in the search function and it will lead you to those tracks. Just remember to return KARAOKESET.COM to proceed further for a value buy of the much sought after karaoke set.

Can I purchase the song disc only?

The song disc supplied with the machine cannot play on other DVD player, it is made especially to be compatible with the Karaoke Set. There are 2 or 3 release of updates per year, they can be purchased separately, our customers will be notified by email of these releases.

Can I buy more song books?

The English song book is normally supplied with the Karaoke Set unless requested otherwise. Another set of other language song book/song title sheets can also be supplied upon request without charge except for freight.

How do I pay for my purchase?

We prefer to be paid through Paypal online credit card payment system. If you do not already have a Paypal account , you can apply one at no charge (click here) .
If you wish to pay by other means, please contact us by email to arrange. However, goods will only be shipped upon receipt of funds.
